Rum Exclusive Edition

After a five-year wait, we finally have enough rum barrels ready to produce this very special spirit.

Our blended rum is created from a mixture of smaller and larger casks, which, due to their different internal surface areas, impart more or less flavor over the same period, as well as giving the distillate a different depth.

This is because, depending on the type of toasting of the inside of the barrels, also called char, the resulting color and smokiness can quickly be transferred to the distillate. However, the deep, dominant "wood notes," the smoothness, and the sweetness of the tannins require a longer maturation period. Furthermore, in addition to our American bourbon barrels, we also use rum that has been aged in Bordeaux barrels made of French oak. This results not only in sweet vanilla notes but also in deeper, nuttier aromas.

And to top it all off, ex-Oloroso sherry casks are also used, which adds even more sweetness, fruitiness and a hint of dried berries and plums to the distillate. These 3 cask types, with their characteristic properties, combine to create a uniquely complex and well-rounded distillate that will delight you immediately!
